  • Check occasionally to ensure the water level stays consistent, adding more boiling water as needed.

Removing and Serving the Pudding

  • Once the pudding is cooked, carefully remove the basin from the pot using oven mitts.
  • Let it cool slightly before removing the cover.
  • Run a knife around the edge of the pudding to loosen it.
  • Invert the basin onto a serving plate and gently tap to release the pudding.
