How to Use Bartoline Fix and Grout Tile Adhesive

Materials Needed

• Bartoline Fix and Grout Tile Adhesive Tub 500gm
• Tiles
• Tile spacers
• Notched trowel
• Sponge or cloth
• Bucket of water

Preparation

1. Ensure the surface you are working on is clean, dry, and free from dust or grease.
2. Plan the layout of your tiles and arrange them accordingly to avoid cutting small pieces at edges.

Applying the Adhesive

1. Open the Bartoline Fix and Grout Tile Adhesive Tub.
2. Use a notched trowel to scoop a manageable amount of adhesive.
3. Spread the adhesive onto the surface with the notched side of the trowel, creating even grooves.
4. Work in small sections to prevent the adhesive from drying out before the tiles are set.

Laying the Tiles

1. Press each tile firmly into the adhesive, using tile spacers to maintain even gaps between tiles.
2. Adjust the tiles as necessary to ensure they are level and aligned.

Grouting the Tiles

1. Allow the adhesive to dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions before starting to grout.
2. Remove the tile spacers.
3. Apply the grout diagonally across the tile joints using a rubber grout float.
4. Wipe off excess grout with a damp sponge, rinsing it frequently in clean water.
5. Allow the grout to cure as per the product instructions.

Cleaning Up

1. Once the grout has set, clean the tiles with a damp cloth to remove any remaining haze.
2. Dispose of any leftover adhesive and clean your tools immediately after use.
