How to Use AUTOCHEM Blue Antifreeze & Coolant Concentrate

Preparation

  • Ensure your vehicle’s engine is cool before starting the process.
  • Have necessary tools ready, such as a funnel and a container for old coolant.
  • Wear protective gloves and eyewear for safety.

Draining Old Coolant

  • Locate the radiator drain plug under your vehicle.
  • Place the container under the drain plug.
  • Loosen the drain plug and allow the old coolant to flow out completely.
  • Tighten the drain plug once the coolant has been completely drained.

Mixing the Concentrate

  • Refer to your vehicle’s manual for the correct water to concentrate ratio. Typically, it is 50:50.
  • In a separate container, mix AUTOCHEM Blue Antifreeze & Coolant Concentrate with distilled water as per the recommended ratio.

Filling the Radiator

  • Open the radiator cap carefully.
  • Using a funnel, pour the mixed coolant into the radiator slowly.
  • Fill the radiator until the coolant reaches the top.
  • Close the radiator cap securely.

Final Steps

  • Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
  • Check for leaks and ensure the coolant level remains stable.

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Dispose of old coolant in accordance with local environmental regulations.
