How to Use Auto Extreme Automotive AX Silver Wheel Spray Paint 250ml

Materials Needed

• Protective gloves
• Masking tape
• Drop cloth or newspaper
• Sandpaper (optional)
• Clean cloth
• Wheel cleaner

Preparation

1. Ensure you have a well-ventilated area to work in.
2. Wear protective gloves to avoid contact with the paint.
3. Use masking tape to cover any areas you do not want to be painted such as brake components or tires.
4. Lay down a drop cloth or newspaper to protect the surrounding area from overspray.
5. Clean the wheels thoroughly using a wheel cleaner and a clean cloth.
6. Optional: Lightly sand the surface of the wheels to ensure better paint adhesion.

Application

1. Shake the spray paint can vigorously for about 1-2 minutes to mix the contents thoroughly.
2. Hold the can approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) away from the wheel surface.
3. Spray the paint in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each pass to ensure even coverage.
4. Apply multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat to avoid drips and runs.
5. Allow each coat to dry as per the instructions on the can before applying the next coat.

Finishing

1. Once the final coat is applied, allow the wheels to dry completely according to the instructions on the can.
2. Carefully remove the masking tape.
3. Inspect the wheels to ensure a smooth and even finish.
4. Dispose of any used materials responsibly.
