How to Use AUTO EXTREME AUTOMOTIVE AX BUMPER & TRIM SPRAY PAINT 300ML
Materials Needed
- AUTO EXTREME Automotive AX Bumper & Trim Spray Paint 300ML
- Protective gloves
- Protective eyewear
- Masking tape
- Drop cloth or newspaper
- Clean cloth
- Sandpaper (optional for rough surfaces)
Preparation
- Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.
- Wear protective gloves and eyewear for safety.
- Clean the surface to be painted with a clean cloth to remove dust and dirt.
- If necessary, sand the surface lightly for better adhesion.
- Use masking tape to cover areas you do not wish to paint.
- Place a drop cloth or newspaper beneath the area to protect against overspray.
Application
- Shake the can of spray paint vigorously for at least 2 minutes to ensure even mixing.
- Hold the can approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) away from the surface.
- Spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, overlapping each stroke slightly.
- Apply multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat to avoid drips and runs.
- Allow each coat to dry for approximately 10-15 minutes before applying the next one.
Drying and Finishing
- After the final coat, allow the paint to dry completely. This may take up to 24 hours depending on the temperature and humidity.
- Remove the masking tape carefully once the paint is dry.
- Inspect the surface for any missed spots and touch up if necessary.
Clean Up
- Dispose of the drop cloth or newspaper according to local regulations.
- Store the can of spray paint in a cool, dry place for future use.
