How to Use AUTO EXTREME AUTOMOTIVE AX BLACK ALLOY WHEEL SPRAY PAINT 300ML

Preparation

  • Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.
  • Wear protective gear, such as gloves and a mask, to prevent inhalation and skin contact.
  • Clean the alloy wheels thoroughly to remove any dirt, grease, or existing paint.
  • Allow the wheels to dry completely before proceeding.
  • Use masking tape or paper to cover areas you do not wish to paint.

Application

  • Shake the can vigorously for about 1-2 minutes to ensure the paint is well-mixed.
  • Test spray on a small, inconspicuous area or a piece of cardboard to check the spray pattern.
  • Hold the can approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the wheel surface.
  • Apply the paint in light, even coats, moving the can in a steady back-and-forth motion.
  • Wait about 10-15 minutes between coats to allow the paint to dry slightly.
  • Apply additional coats as needed for full coverage, typically 2-3 coats.

Drying

  • Allow the paint to dry to the touch for about 30 minutes after the final coat.
  • Let the paint cure fully for at least 24 hours before using the vehicle.

Clean Up

  • Clean the spray nozzle by turning the can upside down and spraying until only clear gas comes out.
  • Dispose of the can responsibly according to local regulations.

Additional Tips

  • For best results, use the spray paint in temperatures between 15-25°C (59-77°F).
  • Avoid spraying in windy conditions to prevent overspray.
  • If needed, sand the surface lightly between coats for an ultra-smooth finish.
