How to Use AUTO EXTREME AUTOMOTIVE AX CLEAR LACQUER SPRAY PAINT 250ML

Step 1: Preparation

  • Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.
  • Wear protective gear such as gloves and a mask to avoid inhalation or skin contact.
  • Clean the surface you intend to spray with soap and water, and dry it completely.
  • Use sandpaper to smooth any rough areas on the surface.
  • Wipe the surface with a tack cloth to remove any dust or debris.
  • Shake the can vigorously for at least 2-3 minutes to ensure the lacquer is well-mixed.

Step 2: Application

  • Test spray on a piece of scrap material to ensure the nozzle is working properly.
  • Hold the spray can approximately 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the surface.
  • Apply the lacquer in light, even coats, using a sweeping motion.
  • Allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next (usually around 10-15 minutes).
  • Apply 2-3 coats for best results, ensuring each coat is even.

Step 3: Finishing

  • Allow the final coat to dry for at least 24 hours for a durable finish.
  • Inspect the surface for any imperfections; if necessary, sand lightly and apply another coat.
  • Once fully cured, you may polish the surface for added shine if desired.
