How to Use the ASHLEY DIGITAL FOOD THERMOMETER

1. Unboxing the Thermometer

• Carefully open the packaging and remove the digital food thermometer.
• Check for any included accessories, such as batteries (if applicable) or a user manual.

2. Inserting the Batteries

• Locate the battery compartment on the thermometer.
• Open the compartment carefully, following any instructions on the device.
• Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
• Close the battery compartment securely.

3. Turning On the Thermometer

• Press the power button to turn on the thermometer.
• Wait for the display to show a reading, indicating that the device is ready to use.

4. Measuring Food Temperature

• Insert the probe of the thermometer into the thickest part of the food item.
• Avoid touching bone, fat, or gristle for an accurate reading.
• Wait for the temperature reading to stabilize on the display.

5. Reading the Temperature

• Check the digital display for the current temperature of the food item.
• Ensure the temperature is appropriate for the food being cooked.

6. Turning Off the Thermometer

• Press the power button again to turn off the thermometer.
• If the thermometer has an auto-off feature, it will power down after a set period of inactivity.

• Wipe the main body with a damp cloth if needed.
