How to Use the AMTECH Medium / Coarse Dual Grit Sanding Sponge (P60/100)

Materials Needed

• AMTECH Medium / Coarse Dual Grit Sanding Sponge (P60/100)
• Protective gloves (optional)
• Safety goggles (optional)

Preparation

• Ensure the work area is clean and free of debris.
• If working indoors, consider laying down a drop cloth to catch dust.
• Put on protective gloves and safety goggles, if desired, to protect your hands and eyes.

Choosing the Right Grit

• Use the medium grit (P100) side for initial sanding to remove rough surfaces or old finishes.
• Switch to the coarse grit (P60) side for more aggressive material removal.

Sanding Technique

• Hold the sanding sponge comfortably in your hand.
• Apply even pressure as you sand the surface, moving in the direction of the grain if working with wood.
• Regularly check your progress and adjust pressure or grit as needed.

Finishing

• After sanding, wipe the surface with a clean cloth to remove any dust or debris.
