How to Use the AMTECH Long Shackle Rhombic Chrome Plated Iron Padlock 40MM

1. Unpacking the Padlock

  • Carefully remove the padlock from its packaging.
  • Ensure that you have the keys that come with the padlock.

2. Understanding the Components

  • Identify the shackle: the U-shaped metal bar that locks into the body of the padlock.
  • Locate the keyhole at the bottom of the padlock body.

3. Unlocking the Padlock

  • Insert the key into the keyhole.
  • Turn the key clockwise until you feel the shackle release.
  • Pull the shackle away from the padlock body to open it.

4. Using the Padlock

  • Place the shackle around the item or through the hole you wish to secure.
  • Push the shackle back into the padlock body until it clicks into place.
