How to Use Westland Peat Free House Plant Potting Mix 4L
Materials Needed
- Westland Peat Free House Plant Potting Mix 4L
- Empty plant pot with drainage holes
- Watering can or spray bottle
- House plant
- Trowel or small garden scoop (optional)
Steps to Pot Your House Plant
1. Prepare the Pot
- Choose a pot that is slightly larger than the current pot of your plant.
- Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
2. Add Potting Mix
- Fill the bottom of the pot with Westland Peat Free House Plant Potting Mix.
- Gently tap the pot to settle the mix.
3. Place Your Plant
- Remove the plant from its current pot. Carefully loosen the root ball if it’s compacted.
- Place the plant in the center of the new pot.
4. Fill with More Potting Mix
- Fill around the root ball with more potting mix until the pot is almost full.
- Gently press the mix around the plant to secure it in place.
5. Water the Plant
- Water the plant thoroughly until water drains out of the bottom of the pot.
- Allow the pot to drain completely before placing it in its spot.
6. Find the Right Spot
- Place your potted plant in an area with suitable light and temperature conditions for its species.
- Regularly check the plant and water as needed.
