How to Use the Prima Aluminium Wok with Lids 28cm
Before First Use
- Wash the wok with warm soapy water.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean towel.
- Optionally, season the wok by applying a thin layer of cooking oil and heating it on low heat for 5-10 minutes.
Cooking with the Wok
- Place the wok on your stovetop burner.
- Turn on the heat to the desired level. Medium to high heat is often recommended for stir-frying.
- Add a small amount of oil or fat if required by your recipe.
- Preheat the wok for a few minutes until the oil is hot.
- Add your ingredients and stir-fry or cook as desired.
- Use wooden or silicone utensils to avoid scratching the surface.
Using the Lid
- The lid can be used to cover the wok to retain heat and moisture.
- Place the lid securely on top of the wok during cooking if needed.
- Remove the lid carefully to release steam away from you.
Cleaning the Wok
- Allow the wok to cool down after cooking.
- Wash with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent water spots.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or steel wool to protect the surface.
Storage Tips
- Store the wok in a dry area to prevent rust or damage.
- If possible, hang it up to save space and avoid stacking heavy items on top.
