Materials Needed

• PAINT FACTORY COLOUR IT Spray Paint 250ML – White Satin
• Protective gloves
• Mask or respirator
• Drop cloth or old newspapers
• Sandpaper (if needed)
• Painter’s tape

Preparation

1. Ensure you are working in a well-ventilated area.
2. Lay down a drop cloth or old newspapers to protect surfaces from overspray.
3. If the surface is glossy or smooth, lightly sand it to help the paint adhere better.
4. Clean the surface to be painted to remove dust, dirt, and grease.
5. Use painter’s tape to cover any areas you do not want to paint.

Application

1. Shake the spray paint can vigorously for about 1-2 minutes to mix the paint thoroughly.
2. Hold the can approximately 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) away from the surface.
3. Press the nozzle and apply the paint in steady, even strokes, moving from side to side.
4. Apply multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat to avoid drips and runs.
5. Allow each coat to dry for the time specified on the can before applying the next coat.

After Painting

1. Once you are satisfied with the coverage, let the final coat dry completely.
2. Carefully remove any painter’s tape before the paint fully cures to avoid peeling.
3. Clean the nozzle of the spray can by turning it upside down and spraying until only clear gas comes out.
