How to Use Paint Factory Clear Matt Varnish Wood Spray Paint 250ml

Materials Needed

• Paint Factory Clear Matt Varnish Wood Spray Paint 250ml
• Protective gloves
• Dust mask
• Safety goggles
• Drop cloth or old newspapers
• Sandpaper (medium and fine grit)
• Clean cloth
• Stir stick

Preparation

1. Ensure the area is well-ventilated by opening windows and doors.
2. Wear protective gloves, a dust mask, and safety goggles.
3. Lay down a drop cloth or old newspapers to protect your work area.
4. Sand the wood surface with medium-grit sandpaper to remove any old finish or imperfections.
5. Switch to fine-grit sandpaper to smooth the surface.
6. Wipe away dust and debris with a clean cloth.
7. Shake the spray paint can vigorously for at least 2-3 minutes to mix the contents thoroughly.

Application

1. Test spray on a small, inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and desired finish.
2. Hold the spray can approximately 25-30 cm (10-12 inches) away from the surface.
3. Apply the varnish in light, even coats using a sweeping motion, slightly overlapping each pass.
4. Allow the first coat to dry completely as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
5. For additional protection, apply a second coat following the same method.
6. Allow the final coat to cure fully before handling or using the item.

Cleanup

1. Turn the spray can upside down and press the nozzle to clear any remaining varnish from the nozzle.
2. Dispose of used materials, such as gloves and newspapers, responsibly.
3. Store the spray can in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
