How to Use the 23CM Springform Cake Tin

Preparation

• Ensure all components of the springform cake tin are clean and dry before use.
• Lightly grease the tin with butter or oil to enhance the non-stick coating, if necessary.
• Preheat your oven according to your recipe’s instructions, ensuring it does not exceed 240°C.

Assembling the Springform Cake Tin

• Place the loose base in the bottom ring of the springform tin.
• Secure the base by closing the springform latch to lock the sides around it. Ensure it is tightly sealed.
• Double-check that there are no gaps between the base and the ring to prevent batter leakage.

Baking

• Pour your prepared cake batter into the assembled tin, leaving some space at the top for the cake to rise.
• Place the tin in the preheated oven on the center rack for even baking.
• Bake according to your recipe’s instructions.

Cooling and Releasing the Cake

• Once baked, remove the cake tin from the oven using oven mitts and set it on a cooling rack.
• Allow the cake to cool in the tin for about 10-15 minutes.
• Release the latch gently to open the sides of the tin.
• Carefully lift the sides away from the base to reveal the cake.
• Use a spatula to transfer the cake from the base to a serving plate if desired.
