Timescales
Orders placed before 10pm, Monday to Friday, will be dispatched in two working days. Orders placed on a weekend will be dispatched the following Tuesday.
Service
Delivery schedules are calculated from the Order Date. Orders are normally received within 2 working days from Dispatch Date, with the exception of European deliveries.
Deliveries are made between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. If these timescales are unsuitable, please contact customer service at 01226 395095 or email customerservice@gem-imports.co.uk. You can also notify us of any special instructions when placing your order online.
Confirmation of dispatch, complete with final invoice, will be emailed to your registered email address on the day of dispatch.
Delivery times are not binding and are subject to Bank Holidays.

UK Mainland, Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, and European deliveries are currently handled by A Davies Transport, Palletforce.
Northern Ireland and Ireland deliveries are handled by KLG Europe.

Accepting an Order
All orders are palletised, shrink-wrapped, and covered on top to ensure all goods are kept safe during transit. While every effort is made to deliver orders in immaculate condition, issues can occasionally occur in transit.
If there are visible signs of damage to the exterior pallets or cartons, please contact customer service at 01226 395095 or email customerservice@gem-imports.co.uk immediately.
All goods are delivered on trucks that use rear tail lifts, so ensure your delivery address has sufficient access for the driver to safely and legally stop to unload.
The driver is not responsible for unloading pallets; please use your own equipment where possible to accept and take goods into your premises.
Deliveries must be signed for by an adult aged 18 or over.
Failed Deliveries

Unfortunately, Compare The Suppliers does not accept returns of non-faulty or unwanted goods.

Faulty Items
We dispatch all our orders by the pallet, which will be shrink wrapped and complete with a top covering. We always make every effort to deliver your order in immaculate condition, but sometimes damages can occur during transit.
Any external signs of damage to the shrink wrap or the individual cartons must be noted on the delivery note while the driver is present. You must then report the damage to customer services immediately by emailing info@comparethesuppliers.co.uk or by calling +44 300 373 0977.
If you suspect significant damage has been caused, please refuse the delivery. Responsibility for damage to or loss of the goods passes to you at the time of delivery, or if you fail to take delivery at the agreed time.
If you discover any shortages or damages upon unpacking your order, please report this within 5 working days to our customer service team by emailing info@comparethesuppliers.co.uk. Any claims submitted after this timeframe will be waived and barred.
We will thoroughly investigate any reported issues, and we may request you to provide digital photographs (that can be emailed) to aid in our investigation. In the event of reporting faulty items, they may need to be returned to us along with a returns form for inspection. Any items returned must be at your own expense, and you will be responsible for the shipping and handling of the returned items.
We will acknowledge receipt of your returned goods, which we will inspect before informing you of the final outcome. This process can take 3 to 5 working days from the date we receive your items. If liability is accepted, we will refund you the cost of the goods and the return shipping costs. Depending on your bank, this can take up to 5 working days to show in your account. Please note that liability will never exceed the value of the goods.
