Materials Needed

• 151 Clear Silicon Sealant Tube 70g
• Caulking gun
• Utility knife or scissors
• Gloves
• Masking tape (optional)
• Cleaning cloth
• Water and soap or rubbing alcohol

Preparation

1. Clean the surface where the sealant will be applied using water and soap or rubbing alcohol, then dry thoroughly.
2. If needed, apply masking tape to areas around the application site for a cleaner finish.
3. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
4. Put on gloves for protection.

Application

1. Cut the tip of the sealant tube at a 45-degree angle to control the flow of the sealant.
2. Insert the tube into a caulking gun.
3. Gently squeeze the trigger to apply the sealant consistently along the joint or seam.
4. Use a smoothing tool or your finger (wearing gloves) to smooth the sealant bead for a neat finish.
5. Remove any excess sealant immediately with a cloth.

Curing

• Allow the sealant to cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions, typically 24 hours.
• Avoid disturbing or getting the area wet during the curing period.

Cleanup

1. Clean any tools and surfaces with water or a suitable cleaner before the sealant cures.
2. Remove any masking tape before the sealant cures for a clean edge.
