Description

  • Peroxyl is a medicated mouthwash used to relieve minor mouth and gum irritations
  • Always use Peroxyl as directed by your dentist or pharmacist
  • Adults and children over 12 years should rinse with 10 ml of Peroxyl for 1 minute, 3 times daily
  • Children age 6-12 years should use Peroxyl under the supervision of an adult
  • Do not store above 25°C
  • Do not use Peroxyl after the expiry date or if signs of deterioration are noticed
  • Possible side effects include minor irritation and swelling of the mouth, injury to the gums, black stain on the tongue and a feeling that your tongue is hairy
  • Do not use Peroxyl if you are allergic to hydrogen peroxide or any of the other ingredients
  • Speak to your dentist or doctor if you have a mouth irritation that persists beyond 7 days of treatment or is severe, if you have irritation due to the wearing of braces and/or dentures, if you develop swelling in the mouth or develop a fever
  • Do not use in children under the age of 6 years
