How to Use the GRUNWERG CAFE OLE BLACK EVERYDAY GLASS CAFETIER 3 CUP 350ML
Step 1: Preparation
- Ensure all components of the cafetière are clean and dry.
- Gather your coffee grounds (medium-coarse grind) and boiling water.
Step 2: Adding Coffee
- Remove the lid and plunger from the cafetière.
- Add approximately 21 grams (about 3 tablespoons) of coffee grounds into the glass beaker.
Step 3: Boiling Water
- Boil fresh water and allow it to cool slightly for optimal brewing temperature (around 93°C or 200°F).
- Slowly pour 350ml of hot water over the coffee grounds in the cafetière.
Step 4: Stirring and Steeping
- Use a spoon to gently stir the mixture to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.
- Place the lid with the plunger on top of the cafetière without pressing down.
- Let the coffee steep for about 4 minutes.
Step 5: Plunging
- Hold the handle of the cafetière firmly with one hand.
- Slowly press the plunger downwards with the other hand, applying steady pressure to separate the coffee grounds from the liquid.
Step 6: Serving
- Once the plunger is fully depressed, pour the freshly brewed coffee into your cup.
- Enjoy your coffee!
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Disassemble the cafetière and rinse all parts thoroughly with warm water.
- Wash with mild detergent if necessary.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling for storage.
