How to Use Caroline 8 Greaseproof Paper Sheets
Preparation
- Ensure your hands and the surface you will be working on are clean and dry.
- Gather the necessary tools and ingredients for your cooking or baking project.
Using the Greaseproof Paper Sheets
- Measure the area you wish to cover with the greaseproof paper. The sheets are 15 x 20 inches, so cut them to size if necessary.
- Place the greaseproof paper sheet on your baking tray, cake tin, or any surface where you want to prevent sticking.
- If using for baking, make sure the paper is flat and covers the entire surface to avoid batter or dough sticking to the tray.
Cooking and Baking
- Preheat your oven according to your recipe’s requirements.
- Place your food item on top of the greaseproof paper.
- Proceed with baking or cooking as directed by your recipe.
After Use
- Once cooking or baking is complete, remove the item from the oven and allow it to cool slightly.
- Carefully lift the item off the greaseproof paper.
- Dispose of the used paper in the recycling bin if possible, as it is often recyclable.
Tips
- Greaseproof paper can also be used to wrap food for storage or transport, providing a barrier against grease and moisture.
- Always check the maximum temperature the paper can withstand, usually indicated on the packaging.
