How to Use the HARRIS ESSENTIALS GLOSS PAINT BRUSH 1.5 INCH / 38MM

Materials Needed

• HARRIS ESSENTIALS GLOSS PAINT BRUSH 1.5 INCH / 38MM
• Gloss paint of your choice
• Paint tray or container
• Painter’s tape (optional)
• Drop cloth or newspapers to protect the floor (optional)
• Clean cloth or paper towels

Preparation

1. Lay down a drop cloth or newspapers to protect your work area.
2. Use painter’s tape to mask off areas you do not want to paint.
3. Ensure the surface to be painted is clean and dry.
4. Stir your gloss paint thoroughly for an even consistency.

Painting

1. Pour a small amount of gloss paint into a paint tray or container.
2. Dip the HARRIS ESSENTIALS GLOSS PAINT BRUSH 1.5 INCH / 38MM into the paint, covering about one-third of the bristle length.
3. Tap off excess paint on the side of the tray to prevent drips.
4. Apply the paint to the surface using long, smooth strokes for an even finish.
5. Start from the top of the surface and work your way down to avoid drips.
6. Reload the brush with paint as needed, following the same dipping and tapping process.

After Painting

1. Once you have finished painting, clean the brush immediately to prevent the paint from drying on the bristles.
2. Use soapy water or a brush cleaner to thoroughly clean the bristles.
3. Rinse the brush under running water until it runs clear.
4. Shake off excess water and reshape the bristles.
5. Allow the brush to air dry before storing it in a clean, dry place.
