Materials Needed

Preparation

  1. Ensure that the surface to be grouted is clean, dry, and free from dust and grease.
  2. Select the appropriate grout color that matches or complements your tiles.
  3. Put on protective gloves and eyewear if desired for safety.

Mixing the Grout

  1. Open the grout package and pour the required amount into a bucket or mixing container.
  2. Add clean water gradually while stirring until you achieve a smooth, lump-free consistency.
  3. Let the mixture stand for a few minutes, then stir again before applying.

Application

  1. Using a grout float or spreader, apply the grout to the tile joints, pressing firmly to ensure full coverage.
