How to Use BABYPIPKIN Silicone Teats (Standard Bottle Neck) 2/PK

Step 1: Clean and Sterilize

• Before first use, wash the silicone teats thoroughly with warm soapy water.
• Rinse them well to remove any soap residues.
• Sterilize the teats by boiling them in water for 5 minutes or using a sterilizer if available.

Step 2: Attach to Bottle

• Ensure the teat and bottle are completely dry and clean.
• Align the base of the teat with the neck of the standard bottle.
• Press firmly to secure the teat onto the bottle neck, ensuring it’s tightly sealed.

Step 3: Fill the Bottle

• Prepare the liquid (e.g., milk, formula) as per instructions provided by the manufacturer.
• Fill the bottle with the prepared liquid up to the desired level.
• Securely screw the bottle cap over the teat to prevent leakage.

Step 4: Check Flow and Temperature

• Test the flow by turning the bottle upside down. The liquid should drip steadily but not pour out.
• Check the temperature of the liquid by placing a few drops on your wrist. It should feel lukewarm.

Step 5: Feeding

• Hold the baby in a comfortable and upright position.
• Gently guide the teat into the baby’s mouth, allowing them to latch on naturally.
• Monitor the baby as they feed, ensuring they are comfortable and the flow rate is appropriate.

Step 6: After Use Care

• Disassemble the bottle and teat immediately after feeding.
• Clean the teat thoroughly with warm soapy water, rinse well, and allow it to air dry.
• Regularly inspect the teat for signs of wear and tear, and replace it as necessary.
